About Us
A-Quant is the official finance club of the School of Business and Management at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. With weekly blogs, challenging competitions, insightful events, knowledgeable sessions, and structured courses, A-Quant focuses on adding practical and tangible financial skills to the students, keeping them at the forefront of the modern world of finance.
We’ve created a structure encompassing a mentor-mentee relationship that not only allows space to learn but also ensures timely assessment of the skills taught. We’re here to prove that finance does not have to be ultra-complex and filled with technical jargon. It does not have to be the demon of everyone’s dreams. It can be fun and easy to learn, leaving you with a sense of contentment by the time you’re done with it
Vision
This club aims to prove a platform for students to learn, explore, and experiment with finance courses, events, and projects. We envision a space for students where they can not only attain a good amount of financial literacy but also prove to be great candidates for the corporate world. We wish to create candidates who have an edge over their peers as they move down the road in their financial careers.
Mission
In the modern business world, being up-to-date with the latest news and trends is essential. At the same time, having in-depth knowledge about the workings of various financial fields and trends can be extremely beneficial for students. At the Finance Club, we aim to do just that. With blogs, posts, sessions, and magazines, we want the students of SBM to be at the forefront of the modern world of finance.
